How far are your villas from Athens airport and the Acropolis?

Most of the collection is on the Athens Riviera. Glyfada is about 25 to 35 minutes from Athens International Airport (ATH) via the Attiki Odos when traffic is light, and about 30 to 40 minutes from the Acropolis outside rush hour. Vouliagmeni, Varkiza and Lagonisi are further south, so add time. We book the transfer with the villa rather than leaving you to find a car at midnight.

Which is better for a villa stay: Glyfada, Vouliagmeni or Voula?

Glyfada if you want restaurants, shopping and the marina. Vouliagmeni if you want the lake, Astir Beach and quieter pine streets. Voula if you want calm family beaches between the two. The longer answer is in the area guides and in the Athens Riviera guide.

Do your villas have private pools? Are they heated?

Many do. The listing says private pool, and it says heated when the owner actually heats it. Heating matters outside July and August. If the dates are in the shoulder season, ask us to confirm before you hold the house.

Can you arrange a private chef, transfers or a yacht day?

Yes. A private chef, an airport transfer, and a day on the water from Vouliagmeni or Alimos marina are arranged before you land. They are not included in the nightly rate. Tell us what you want when you enquire, against a specific house.

What is the minimum stay in summer and in winter?

In July and August, expect several nights. The exact minimum is on the proposal and depends on the house and the dates. Winter and the shoulder months are shorter, and only houses with proper heating are worth taking then.

Are the villas suitable for events or weddings?

Some are, mostly the larger gardens in Lagonisi and the quieter streets of Vouliagmeni. An event needs the owner's permission, a guest count and an end time. It is not the same as a holiday booking. Houses that allow it are described as such.

What is included in the nightly rate?

The rate is for the villa. Cleaning, service and the climate-crisis levy are listed separately on the proposal so you can see them before you pay a deposit. A chef, transfers and beach-club reservations are extra.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

Stays are confirmed by us in writing, after the owner accepts the dates. The deposit and the cancellation terms are on the proposal and in the booking conditions. A request is not a reservation.
